Exploring Faith and Spirituality

Are you ready to be a part of the change?

We are committed to seeing students on our campuses transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of fellow students, student leaders, coaches, and athletes.

By donating today, you are helping the students and leaders of FCA change the culture at our ministry sites.

Would you prayerfully consider joining my financial support team?  I'd be honored to partner with you in this mission.

If you cannot invest in our students, please pray for the FCA leadership and the school staff.

Thank you for your continued support.

Why are we expanding?

Why FCA?

Warren Robison has been dedicated to ministering to students on school campuses since 2002. He began his journey by volunteering with the Youth For Christ Ministry at Triton Central Middle School for several years before joining the Central Indiana Youth For Christ staff. After leaving YFC to take a position at a local church, he began volunteering with the Shelbyville Middle School FCA, eventually being appointed as the Coach for SMS FCA in 2021. FCA is an organization dedicated to transforming the world through Jesus Christ by harnessing the influence of coaches and athletes. This mission emphasizes discipleship, fostering growth in Christ for both students and coaches, which aligns perfectly with our current approach at SMS.

Warren is a relationship-driven pastor who believes that ministry effectiveness hinges on emulating the approach Jesus exemplified. Consequently, his work is rooted in discipleship. Every Bible study he leads and each sermon he delivers is focused on spiritual growth and transformation into the likeness of Jesus. Following Jesus' model, God has richly blessed the SMS FCA Ministry, resulting in record attendance, first-time commitments to faith, and a renewed sense of spirituality among students. At Shelbyville Middle School, we have witnessed a cultural shift, where students pray before meals, read their Bibles during free reading time, and student-athletes pray together on the bus while traveling to games. These moments are just a few examples of God’s active presence through FCA on the Shelbyville Middle School campus.

So, why add another school campus ministry?

In early 2024, we began exploring the possibilities of expanding our successful model from SMS to another middle school campus. After substantial prayer and fasting, we felt called to launch an FCA at  Triton Central Middle School. On March 6th, we laid a firm foundation for the TCMS FCA by launching our TCMS FCA Student Leader team. We are blessed with 14 intense, intelligent, and spiritually mature seventh and eighth-grade students who want to grow their faith, but more importantly, grow the faith of their peers.

Warren dedicates over 20 hours each week (on a volunteer basis) to the Shelbyville Middle School campus. The addition of a second campus is expected to increase his commitment by another 10 to 15 hours weekly during the initial year. This necessitates that Warren adjust his work hours across his four jobs to support his family, and he will also look to supplement his income through full-time employment at Central Indiana FCA.
